Job Description
The Environmental & Lab Technician conducts sampling, extraction, analysis, monitoring, auditing, and reporting to support the EHS department's goals and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs sample collection, preparation, extraction, and analysis following SOPs and permitting.
Maintains workspace, equipment, and sample inventory.
Enhances troubleshooting skills and performs instrument maintenance.
Operates Environmental and Air Quality Monitoring Programs.
Conducts field inspections and prepares regulatory reports.
Supports team goals and KPIs in a COR, ISO 17025, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 certified environment.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Acts.
Mechanical aptitude for sampler troubleshooting.
Proficiency in data interpretation and report writing.
Familiarity with plant processes and sampling procedures.
Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
Computer skills in MS Office, LIMS, and Windows.
Work Environment:
Safety-sensitive duties in an industrial plant setting.
Physical demands and exposure to environmental hazards.
Compliance with PPE and safety protocols.
On a Compressed Work Week Schedule, Monday to Friday, with flexibility.
