Environmental Practice Leader - PFAS

Job Description

Job Title: PFAS Market Lead. Location: National (Remote or based on preference). Langan is seeking a PFAS Market Lead to drive the growth of its national PFAS practice. This role is pivotal in expanding market reach, delivering innovative solutions, and providing technical expertise in site remediation. You'll be working on advanced and complex remediation projects, focusing on in situ technologies such as bioremediation and chemical oxidation, particularly in the industrial and aviation sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Lead and grow the national PFAS practice.
•  Develop and maintain client relationships and manage projects.
•  Expand business in the aviation and industrial sectors.
•  Provide consultation on complex remedial treatment options.
•  Design and implement field pilot studies for in situ technologies.
•  Oversee field work, lab testing, and remedial subcontractors.
•  Offer leadership, coaching, and supervision to engineers and scientists.
•  Engage team members both in-person and remotely.
•  Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

•  15+ years of site remediation experience.
•  Proven experience in leading and managing remedial designs and operations.
•  Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
•  P.E., P.G., or other professional certification.
•  Superior technical knowledge of PFAS remediation and emerging contaminants.
•  Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
•  Experience with aviation and industrial projects preferred.
•  Strong leadership, mentorship, and managerial skills.
•  Excellent communication, report writing, and client relationship management.
•  Ability to manage multiple projects with quality and attention to detail.
•  Reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits.
•  Valid driver’s license in good standing.

• Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, market conditions, and other factors. Eligible for annual bonus and performance review program.
