Senior Engineer / Asst Manager Tower Manufacturing process Quality

Role Brief and Responsibilities

Ensure and improve supplier quality for dedicated business areas (products and services).

Implement SQM requirements for preventive actions, technical specifications, and supplier qualification.

Act as SQM contact in cross-functional teams.

Apply preventive quality methods to minimize risks.

Design, maintain, and improve Quality requirements, specifications, and concepts based on supplier categorization.

Qualify and approve suppliers in cooperation with purchasing.

Coordinate product/service qualifications and approvals based on specific requirements/specifications (Ready to order).

Collaborate in creating technical specifications.

Create and negotiate Quality Assurance agreements and monitor implementation in supplier processes.

Plan and execute Supplier Audits, including follow-up of audit measures.

Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement and collaborate in supplier development programs.

Implement complaints management to detect and analyze non-conformances and communicate with suppliers. Support sustainable problem-solving.

Support standardized supplier qualification processes according to corporate guidelines (Ready for business).

Qualifications and Preferences

Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality development in Tower Manufacturing.

Knowledge of NDT, Welding/Painting Inspection (required), IMS (optional).

Educational Qualification: B.E/B. Tech (Mechanical).

Languages Known: English, Hindi, and Tamil (mandatory). Good communication skills.

Willing to travel across India.
