Position: Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist. Location: Sydney, Australia. Join our Audit Team to work on high-profile contaminated land audits and contribute to a range of environmental assessments and remediation solutions. You'll be guided by experienced NSW EPA accredited Site Auditors and have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as risk assessment, vapour intrusion, or hydrogeology.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Site Auditors with projects under the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997:
• Review environmental reports
• Prepare audit advice and site audit reports
• Conduct site inspections
• Participate in client meetings
• Support Lead Auditors in compliance audit projects:
• Review environmental management plans
• Conduct field and desktop audits
• Prepare audit programs and reports
• Engage in proposal preparation, project management, and client communication
• Opportunity to work on environmental assessment and remediation projects outside of audit work

Qualification and Licensure:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field
• Preferred: Postgraduate qualifications
• Required: 5+ years of environmental consulting experience in contaminated land, knowledge of NSW and national regulations, effective communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and a valid NSW driver’s license
• Preferred: Experience in contaminated land auditing, risk assessment, hydrogeology, vapour intrusion/hazardous ground gas, and client relationship management
