Job Purpose:

• Govern HSE in wind projects within the framework of environmental, health, & safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with legal & statutory regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement organizational safety programs & evaluate their effectiveness.
2. Foster a safety-focused work culture within the team.
3. Identify training needs & coordinate in-house/external training with central HSE.
4. Monitor HSE processes, ensure continual improvement, & track health/safety metrics.
5. Mitigate risks by implementing and monitoring mitigation plans.
6. Collaborate with site in-charge, site team, & QHSE team to enhance EHS systems.
7. Update knowledge on applicable HSE regulations & ensure compliance.
8. Conduct safety audits, risk analyses, & assist in preparing work instructions.
9. Investigate accidents & near-misses, prepare reports, & deploy horizontal learnings.
10. Prepare monthly HSE metric reports for management.
11. Evaluate subcontractors based on HSE performance.
12. Monitor Contractor Field Safety Audit programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in HSE governance, preferably in renewable energy or wind projects.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment, & safety culture development.
