Job Title: Business Development Capture Manager. Location: Hanover, Maryland (Hybrid). Oceaneering Technologies (OTECH) develops, manufactures, & operates customized marine systems, subsea vehicles, & engineered solutions for commercial & U.S. military vessels. As a Business Development Capture Manager for Oceaneering Technologies, you’ll play a vital role in aligning our technologies with U.S. & international defense needs. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop & implement marketing, sales, & business plans for target opportunities.  
• Contribute to the development of competitive proposals.  
• Meet or exceed sales forecasts & goals.  
• Build & maintain customer relationships & gather market intelligence.  
• Actively identify new prospects via trade shows, presentations, & prospecting.  
• Expand sales with existing customers for system expansions, upgrades, & services.  
• Collaborate with internal teams across the US & abroad.  
• Travel up to 25% of the time.  

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technical field, or related.  
• 5-7 years of defense-related work.  
• Ability to obtain & maintain security clearance.  
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  
• Understanding of defense customers & influencers.  
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, & communication skills.  
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team.  
• Willingness to travel on short notice.

Desired:

• Experience in defense subsea environment or offshore industries.  
• Familiarity with engineering, ROVs, or AutoCAD.  
• Direct project management experience.
