Civil Engineering Intern

Job Description

Langan seeks a Civil Engineering Intern/Co-op to join its Dallas, TX team, supporting site feasibility studies and land development projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, designing, and permitting civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

Prepare and modify engineering documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other software.

Analyze soil, terrain, hydrological, and geologic data for project planning and design.

Support zoning, ordinance assessments, cost estimations, and project feasibility analysis.

Provide field inspection services and collaborate with team members on project tasks.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering; GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
