Deputy Manager- eBoP

Job Description

Job Title: Deputy Manager - eBoP. Location: KA, IN. Founded in 2011, ReNew is a global leader in renewable energy, with a strong presence in India. Responsibilities:

• Ensure round-the-clock availability of substation & transmission lines at the site.
• Maintain communication with Load Dispatch Centres (LDC) for forecasting & scheduling.
• Perform preventive (PM) & breakdown maintenance (BM) of eBoP assets, maintaining necessary documentation.
• Plan & execute eBoP Permit-to-Work (PTW) & Line Clearance Procedures (LCP).
• Assist SCADA engineers in restoring Optical Fiber Communication (OFC) connectivity.
• Manage contractual employees, spares, and consumables inventory.
• Update work orders in SAP & minimize shutdown hours.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HV, EHV & substation asset issues.
• Participate in audits & implement ISO-standard practices.
• Promote health, safety, & environmental (HSE) practices at the site.
• Train employees on technical subjects.
• Test and maintain circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and other substation equipment.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of eBoP systems (Transmission lines & substations).
• Familiarity with SAP, protection relays, and Substation Automation Systems (SAS).
• Experience with Permit-to-Work (PTW) & Line Clearance Procedures (LCP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and practices.
