Deputy Manager - Solar

Job Description

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.

Accountabilities and Duties:

  •  Oversee site administration as per corporate guidelines.
  •  Coordinate with local authorities (EB, other admin bodies) for site operations.
  •  Analyze performance indicators such as generation, losses, auxiliary power consumption, and equipment availability to maximize plant efficiency.
  •  Follow up with customers on Joint Measurement Reports (JMR) and receivables.
  •  Manage plant financial issues including imprest recoupment and contract payments.
  •  Ensure proper project handover and takeover according to scope, protocols, and procedures.
  •  Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules for plant equipment.
  •  Maintain a list of plant-related issues and liaise with engineering, contracts, accounts, and environmental teams.
  •  Liaise with local communities, contractors, and suppliers.
  •  Plan and allocate resources, including spares and manpower, and manage budgets.
  •  Oversee contract management, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
