Job Description

Position: HSE Professional. Department: COO APAC > Regional HSE APAC > Regional Service HSE APAC. Location: Lyndhurst Warehouse (flexibility to work 3 days in the warehouse, 2 days from home)  

Join Vestas in a pivotal role within the HSE department, focusing on implementing and managing HSE risk reduction programs and improving safety culture within the wind energy sector.

Responsibilities:

• HSE Risk Reduction: Implement global, APAC, and ANZ HSE risk reduction programs in response to emerging risks and incidents.
• Support & Coaching: Provide coaching and support for the local HSE Management System (HSEMS), including emergency response and incident management.
• Risk Awareness: Enhance situational risk awareness and reduce risks through performance monitoring, audits, and inspections.

Qualifications:

Certification: Cert IV OHS/WHS in AUS legislative framework or higher. Experience: 5+ years in operational roles within renewables or related WHS/OHS exposure.

Competencies:

• Qualifications: Investigation and auditing qualifications.
• Experience: Previous experience in a QSE/HSE Coordinator role, preferably in the Building and Construction industry.
• Systems Knowledge: Understanding of QSE management systems and certification processes; familiarity with QSE software like SAP, Enablon, iAuditor.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and report writing skills. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and SAP. Strong understanding of OHS and environmental legislation.
