Job Description

Position: Field Service Engineer - Laboratory & Healthcare Equipment. Location: Veolia Water Technologies Ireland. As a Field Service Engineer, you will deliver comprehensive on-site services for laboratory and healthcare equipment, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• On-Site Service: Commission, troubleshoot, service, maintain, repair, calibrate, and validate laboratory & healthcare equipment.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure equipment is safe for use, adhere to safety regulations, ISO Quality Procedures, and site rules.
• Documentation: Maintain records, create service reports, and complete company paperwork accurately.
• Stock Management: Keep an updated stock of spare parts and consumables in the company vehicle.
• Revenue Opportunities: Identify and report new site developments and revenue opportunities.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the Service Operations Manager and provide feedback on customer experiences and training needs.
• Training & Development: Attend training courses, acquire knowledge of equipment, and represent the company professionally.
• Additional Duties: Work additional hours as needed, occasional overseas travel, and participate in the on-call rota.

Qualifications:

Required: Electrical qualification and relevant experience. Preferred: Experience with laboratory & healthcare equipment.
