GIS Intern / Co-op

Job Description

Job Title: GIS Intern / Co-op - Summer 2025. Location: Parsippany, NJ, 07054-2172; Lakewood, CO, 80228; Irvine, CA, 92612; Bethlehem, PA, 18018-5717; Warrington, PA, 18976-3653. Langan is looking for a GIS Intern to support data analysis and map creation using Esri’s ArcGIS suite. This position offers hands-on GIS experience across fields like environmental science, civil engineering, transportation, & natural resources.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with data reduction, analysis, & map creation  
• Support data product development for infrastructure planning  
• Create GIS visuals by interpreting incomplete data  
• Maintain GIS project databases for organized data cataloging  
• Perform other duties as needed  

Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing a 4-year or advanced degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field  
• Minimum 3.0 GPA  
• Strong communication, analytical, & judgment skills  
• Ability to work independently & in teams  
• Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS software & Microsoft Office Suite
