Job Description

Job Title: Manager - Business Analysis & Planning. Location: Orange, Connecticut, USA, Portland, Maine, USA , Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The Manager - Business Analysis & Planning is responsible for improving short-term forecasting for AVANGRID, supporting financial analysis, & providing key performance reports. This role interacts with senior leadership & supports business segments with data-driven insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improve AVANGRID’s short-term financial planning processes, including budgeting.
• Prepare executive documents for senior management & Board of Directors.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial & business analysis, profitability studies, & cost assessments.
• Lead process improvement projects within the Business Performance area.

Job Requirements:

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong analytical & financial modeling skills.  
• Excellent verbal & written communication, including storytelling.  
• Stakeholder relationship management.  
• Knowledge of business value levers in Networks, Renewables, & Corporate segments.  
• Project management experience & process improvement skills.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of financial experience, including financial analysis/modeling.  
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) & financial planning tools (Adaptive/SAC).  
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Google tools.  
• Utilities experience preferred but not required.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field.  
• Master's degree & CPA/CFA preferred but not required.
