Offshore Coordinator

Job Description

Job Title: Offshore Coordinator (m/f/d). Company Remote Information: This position is based at our Control Room, with onsite requirements for operational activities.

Job Duties:

• Grant safe access and ensure the safety and tracking of offshore teams.
• Cover operational control under a Safe System of Work (SSoW) and implement the emergency response plan when required.
• Coordinate emergency response and control vessel traffic, responding to radio communications, and escalating to incident coordinator/second line emergency response as appropriate.
• Provide VHF Radio communication to all vessels, helicopters, and WTG technicians, using the Ørsted Communication System.
• Manage WTG and transmission access restrictions, keeping them up-to-date, and receive directions from the planning/scheduling department using Ørsted Systems.
• Maintain the flight and vessel e-logbook, handling vessel allocations and unforeseen changes to the daily plan/schedule while optimizing vessel use efficiency.
• Operate the offshore management system (SOMS) and ensure all offshore personnel have the correct certification and pax lists.
• Provide weather forecasting and observation system data, interpreting data to provide advice and recommendations to offshore teams and assist in planning.

Qualifications:

• Nautical background with an understanding of SSoW and marine coordination/control.
• Experience in a marine setting.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Proficient IT skills, including the Microsoft Office package.
• Excellent communication skills, including VHF radio communication experience.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
