Job Description
Job Title: Senior Ecologist. Location: Dublin, IRL (with opportunities in Cork, Belfast, & other locations)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure team health, safety, & well-being through proactive measures.
- Prepare high-quality, commercially astute bids for ecological services, especially in energy, defence, & water sectors.
- Organize all project phases, managing resources, budgets, & timelines to meet requirements.
- Deliver ecological consultancy & advisory services through robust check & review processes.
- Develop pragmatic solutions to complex ecological challenges.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, & stakeholders.
- Contribute to ecological chapters in environmental statements & species license applications.
- Review project deliverables to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in planning & delivering ecological services in the UK/Ireland.
- Strong understanding of wildlife conservation & major habitats or species.
- Membership of professional institutions (e.g., CIEEM) & working towards Chartership.
- Excellent field skills in at least one specialist area, including relevant species licenses.
- Proactive approach to Health & Safety.
