Senior Finance Project Analyst

Job Description

Ensure timely preparation of accurate management information and support the financial needs of Operations.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for relevant programs in line with corporate policies and guidelines.

Conduct variation and financial analysis.

Assist in monthly internal and external reporting for assigned programs.

Collaborate with Operational Regional Business Group leads and Project Managers to identify and recommend business improvement opportunities.

Support the Finance Project Manager in developing short-term and long-term plans, as well as a rolling 15-month forecast for programs.

Maintain records of forecasts and free cash flow at the project level.

Perform analytics for bid review preparation, development, and decision-making.

Work with FP&A leads to support investment lookbacks and profitability analysis on programs.

Assist in developing CAPEX models and managing approval processes for specific capital expenditures.

Support internal and external audit activities and ensure regulatory reporting and compliance.

Assist in implementing financial standards across the organization.

Non-Essential Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned, including those outlined in the RASCI model related to your area of work.

Travel to sites as necessary to understand project operations.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.

Extensive experience in accounting and finance.

Working knowledge of cost accounting principles and Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions.

Familiarity with reporting under local statutory requirements.

Basic understanding of modeling concepts.

Desired

Post-graduate qualifications.

Experience leading a team is a plus.

Working knowledge of current ERP systems.

International experience is advantageous.

Experience with project management/scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, MPM).
