Job Description

Position Title: Wind Technician I – Mt. Pulaski, near Springfield, Illinois. Enel North America, Inc., part of the globally recognized Enel Group, is a leader in sustainable energy. Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment to maximize generation.
• Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot minor components; assist with major components as needed.
• Conduct current and voltage calculations as required.
• Initiate and maintain records related to maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure safety by completing Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and all job-specific documentation.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in electrical theory and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical test equipment like DMMs, meggers, and calibration tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SQL Server, facility management systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work at heights of 300+ feet, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience or equivalent education/training.

Work Conditions:

• On-site role with exposure to hot/cold ambient weather conditions.
• Frequent climbing of turbine towers and working in confined spaces.
• Travel up to 25% within the U.S. for site support.
