Job Description
Job Title: Advanced Service Technician. Location: Waterloo, South Australia, Australia. Responsibilities:
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal wind farm operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems safely.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental guidelines to protect personnel and the environment.
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, & other safety initiatives.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, functional, & well-maintained;
- Familiarize yourself with the site through comprehensive induction programs.
- Follow the Service Maintenance Agreement to meet contractual obligations;
- Continuously upgrade skills to adapt to evolving technologies & equipment;
- Collaborate with the team to foster a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- A-Grade Electrical License (mandatory).
- Valid and clean driver's license;
- Desirable certifications: GWO training, working at heights, HV/LV rescue, fire awareness, & first aid.
- Proficiency in PC tools & technologies for maintenance tasks;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience in PLC and SCADA systems is an advantage.
Competencies:
- Expertise in HV/LV, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools and troubleshooting;
- Strong communication skills & ability to work effectively in small teams.
- Understanding of safety principles & willingness to enforce safety compliance.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
