Environmental EIA Consultant

Job Description

Job Title: Principal Environmental EIA Consultant. Location: Dublin, Ireland. Are you passionate about improving the environmental performance of infrastructure development projects and helping Ireland achieve its net-zero commitments? At AECOM, you'll work with technical experts within our Impact Assessment team, which includes over 170 staff across Ireland & the UK. Our projects range from energy generation & distribution, transportation, and regeneration to waste and water infrastructure. You’ll manage environmental inputs into large-scale development projects, from strategy through to operation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:  

• Manage environmental inputs to EIA reports, scoping, & technical reviews across various consenting regimes.
• Ensure quality management procedures are upheld.
• Lead & collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize environmental outcomes.
• Manage client relationships & identify business development opportunities.

Qualifications: 

• Degree (preferably a Master’s) in a relevant environmental discipline.
• Experience in EIA consultancy & managing environmental reports.
• Strong knowledge of Irish environmental legislation.
• Project management skills, including staff & budget management.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills.
