Safety, Health & Environment Director - New York, NY. Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the company's home office & field operations to develop & administer safety, accident prevention, & environmental policies.
• Gain an in-depth knowledge of the company, including its structure, philosophy, & industry specifics (manufacturing, engineering, & construction).
• Collaborate with department heads & field operations to resolve safety & environmental issues.
• Supervise the safety, accident prevention, & environmental activities within the department, including project personnel.
• Provide training in policy, procedures, inspection, documentation, & accident investigation.
• Represent the company on technical/professional committees & support local, state, federal, & industry code formulation.
• Manage the ES&H team under the direction of the Sr. Director.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS degree plus 12 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience/education).
• 4 years of leadership experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or Engineering.
• Completion of OSHA 10-hour Construction Health and Safety Course (30-hour preferred).
