Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer. Location: The Hague, NLD

Responsibilities:

• Perform and lead electrical design work across projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, scope, and timelines.
• Coordinate the design and permitting process, acting as a bridge between design and construction teams.
• Design and calculate technical installations or oversee external design compliance with local codes.
• Collaborate with clients, construction partners, consultants, and suppliers for project execution.
• Prepare high-quality construction documents for both new builds and renovations.
• Carry out risk assessments, technical due diligence (TDD), and safety evaluations for designs.
• Provide technical and technological input within a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise and contribute to project specifications and cost estimations.
• Support construction phases by ensuring adherence to specifications and drawings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in project development phases from concept design to construction administration.
• Strong knowledge of national and international standards (IEC, NEN).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and familiarity with BIM and digital design tools.
• Expertise in writing technical specifications and understanding construction costs.
• Effective in client communication and technical presentations.
• Excellent communication skills in French or Dutch and English.
