Job Description

Job Title: Financial Modeling Analyst (H/F). Location: Europe (Germany, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Sweden) & Canada. Our Financing Department is seeking a Financial Modeling Analyst to support financial structuring for solar, wind, & storage projects across Europe & Canada. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to analyze investment decisions, financing options, & financial models for large-scale renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, & optimize financial models for greenfield & brownfield renewable energy projects.
• Conduct financial analyses, sensitivity studies, & investment decision assessments;
• Structure & support Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), acquisitions, & vendor comparisons.
• Ensure internal financial model consistency across projects in pre-construction.
• Coordinate financing handover with internal teams & banking partners.
• Train development teams on using financial models effectively.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (BAC +5) in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial modeling, preferably in project finance, investment banking, consulting, or renewable energy.
• Strong Excel & financial modeling skills;
• Excellent communication & teamwork abilities;
• Fluency in English (oral & written); additional languages like Italian, German, Portuguese, Swedish, or Finnish are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, adaptability, & problem-solving skills.
