Application Engineer C&I Storage

Job Description

Job Title: Application Engineer C&I Storage Turnkey (f/m/d). Location: Germany, Italy, Spain (Remote possible)

Responsibilities:

• Design & develop technical solutions for turnkey C&I Storage projects (PV + BESS).
• Analyze customer requirements & project constraints to ensure feasibility.
• Optimize system design based on space, roof profile, & LCOE calculations.
• Define technical assumptions, exclusions, & project scope;
• Create plant layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), & Bills of Quantities (BoQs).
• Assess subcontractor proposals & ensure alignment with project needs.
• Collaborate with sales, business development, & commercial teams;
• Contribute to standardization efforts for future proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in PV+BESS design or application engineering.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in LCOE calculations, circuit sizing, & grounding.
• Experience with PVsyst, Helioscope, & AutoCAD.
• Fluency in English (German or other European languages is a plus).
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
