Assistant Manager - Electrical

Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager - Design - Electrical. Location: India. As an Assistant Manager - Design - Electrical, you will be responsible for designing solar projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design solar projects (DC + AC) and prepare bills of materials and technical specifications in line with Indian and international standards.
• Conduct sizing calculations and prepare reports for project documentation.  
• Collaborate with AutoCAD draftsmen to prepare PV array layouts, including positioning of ICR blocks, string inverters, combiner boxes, and routing of cables (LT & HT).
• Plan equipment placement, MCR building layout, switchyard layout, and other engineering aspects for ground-mounted solar projects.  
• Prepare DC SLD, AC SLD, DSLP, earthing, and cable sizing calculations.  
• Communicate daily with cross-functional teams, including planning, procurement, project managers, site personnel, and quality and safety teams.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Experience: 3-5 years in solar project engineering.  
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
