Job Description

Position: VIE - RES Business Developer Support  

ENGIE is a global leader in low-carbon energy and services, offering comprehensive solutions in energy management. With 3,600 employees and 20+ international business platforms, ENGIE covers the full energy mix, including renewable and thermal power, natural gas, LNG, and more. GEMS focuses on asset management, energy transition services, energy supply, and risk management.  

The German Origination Desk, part of GEMS and the local Business Platform (BP) Germany, focuses on developing energy market solutions and accelerating the energy transition in Germany. The team handles renewable energy services, market access, green corporate PPAs, certificate business, and structured power and gas products.

Responsibilities:

• CRM Management: Use Salesforce to track and follow up on pricing requests and standard products.
• Contractual Follow-Up: Monitor operational processes and ensure deadlines are met.
• Certificates Business: Maintain and manage certificate business flows.
• Commercial Strategy: Assist in defining commercial strategies, improve market visibility, and create/maintain communication tools.

Hard Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Coding skills are a plus

Background:

Master’s degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Energy, or Finance

Specialization in Mathematics, Business Analysis, Law, Economics, Finance, or Energy

Languages:

- English

- German

Travels: Willingness to travel between ENGIE offices and attend conferences (1-2 per year) within Germany.

Additional Info: Training period: 2-3 months in Brussels before relocating to Germany.
