Quality Inspector

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the manufacturing process, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards, drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review EL images and make pass/reject judgments; check mechanical dimensions.
  • Perform final assembly inspections for finish, labeling, electric output, and packaging methods.
  • Conduct cosmetic, labeling, and functional inspections of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and communicate results/issues to staff and departments such as Production & Maintenance to ensure prompt containment actions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting machine, material, process, and operator-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with product quality standards, work instructions, and procedures.
  • Use and maintain quality control equipment, ensuring proper calibration and function.
  • Support ISO 9001 activities and customer onsite inspections/audits.
  • Follow all environmental, health, and safety rules and policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in quality control or a related position in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and inspection methodologies.
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with measurement tools and testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and strong attention to detail is preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Computer literacy, including ERP systems or similar software.
