Construction Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Construction Manager – Den Haag, Netherlands

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full construction lifecycle for a large-scale terminal modernization project.
• Ensure operational execution aligns with project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Lead compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) requirements;
• Manage contractor performance and maintain client communication;
• Identify & implement cost-saving opportunities in construction projects;
• Conduct safety meetings & audits to maintain high safety standards.
• Supervise infrastructure upgrades & automation implementation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure project management.
• Fluent in Dutch & English.
• Strong background in HSSE leadership & compliance;
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects in high-pressure environments;
• Recognized construction or engineering qualification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Management qualification.
• Experience with large-scale terminal or port infrastructure projects.
