Content Marketing Lead

Job Description

Job Title: Content Marketing Lead. Location: Washington DC.

Responsibilities:

• Write and edit high-quality content that reflects Ørsted’s tone of voice, messaging, and values.
• Collaborate with designers to produce, curate, and optimize engaging brand and marketing collateral, including promotional materials, web content, and advertising copy.
• Assist the marketing team in identifying content opportunities that support project and market development.
• Maintain a core messaging document in close collaboration with the Communications team to ensure messaging consistency across the business.
• Review and update existing content to maintain accuracy across all channels.
• Integrate SEO keywords into copy for the web and write metadata (e.g., meta titles, OG text, alt tags) for market and project sites.

Qualifications:

• Excel at long-form and technical writing, with strong analytical thinking for strategic, fact-based writing.
• Advanced understanding of editorial best practices with the ability to optimize content for brand alignment, SEO, readability, and engagement.
• Strong project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal stakeholders to address business needs creatively.
• Creative, strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Stay updated on industry trends, integrating innovative practices into content plans.
