Contract Manager

Job Description

Job Title: Contract Manager - Offshore O&M Services. Location: Northern Europe (Germany, France, Spain, England). Join our team as a Contract Manager for Offshore Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Services. You will support site and technical teams with contract management, including negotiation, implementation, and compliance. This role involves detailed contract reviews, risk management, and advising on commercial matters related to Offshore Wind projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support negotiation and management of contracts for Offshore O&M Services.
  • Facilitate implementation of contracts, including reporting and deliverables.
  • Undertake detailed contract reviews and advise on interpreting and applying contract provisions.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks in line with contract terms.
  • Provide recommendations to avoid additional costs and minimize legitimate claims.
  •  Support negotiations of claims and variations with contractors.
  •  Prepare notes of advice and handle commercial drafting.
  •  Advise on commercial risks from an O&M perspective for supply contracts on emerging projects.
  •  Ensure best practices and processes are applied in contract management, interfacing with functions such as Purchasing, Insurance, Financial, and Legal.

Requirements:

  • Commercial and contractual experience in engineering.
  • Experience with warranty claims and negotiations.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-contract negotiations within tight deadlines.
  • Postgraduate experience in Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, or similar industry.
  • Strong performance management and ability to balance a varied workload.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly and work at different project sites across northern Europe.
