Director Product, Storage & Inverters

Job Description

Job Title: Senior Director, Product, Modules, Storage & Inverters - North & Central America. Location: US Walnut Creek. Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee the Product Roadmap for Modules, Storage, & Inverters in the Utility, C&I, & Residential markets.  
  • Develop competitive strategies for product positioning in North & Central America, driving global product development.  
  • Lead a team to gather market feedback, prioritize enhancements, & align product vision with market needs.  
  • Craft 5-year business plans & financial models for new product development investments.  
  • Manage product lifecycle from planning to tactical execution, including market strategy, budget, & reporting.  
  • Identify technology trends, recommend partnerships, & support the launch of new products.  
  • Collaborate with sales & engineering teams to train them on product specifications & market advantages.  
  • Manage recruitment, performance management, & talent development in product management teams.  
  • Travel up to 40%, including internationally.  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (Master’s preferred).  
  • 10+ years of product management or development experience in PV, energy storage, or inverters.  
  • 3+ years at Senior Manager/Director level in Energy Storage or related products.  
  • Fluent in English (Spanish/Mandarin is a plus).  
  • Expertise in Power Electronics, Energy Storage, & Battery technologies.  
  • Strong strategic planning, financial analysis, & leadership skills.  
  • Excellent communication, organizational, & presentation skills.
