Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Specialist. Location: Calgary, AB. AECOM Canada seeks an Electrical Specialist for a full-time position based in Calgary, AB. This role requires expertise in electrical engineering to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a fully competent electrical engineer with minimal supervision.
- Develop advanced design procedures, software, and tools for cost-effective and high-quality technical outcomes.
- Estimate technical efforts required for projects with a clear understanding of resource allocation.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within design teams and with clients.
- Conduct interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables to maintain quality standards.
- Oversee the development and execution of technical approaches with ingenuity and creativity.
- Prepare comprehensive project designs, detailed plans, and professional presentations.
- Create accurate designs, calculations, and drawings adhering to industry and client specifications.
- Determine technical objectives with autonomy and leadership.
- Mentor junior designers to maintain high professional standards within the team.
- Engage with clients directly, ensuring needs are met with professionalism and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with six years of related design or construction experience, or equivalent.
Preferred:
- 15 years of experience in electrical water and wastewater design.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary range: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 based on qualifications and location.
