Wastewater Engineer II

Job Description

Job Title: Wastewater Engineer II. Location: Oakland, CA. As a Wastewater Engineer II, you’ll be involved in designing and implementing wastewater treatment solutions for large-scale projects. Your role includes developing concepts, specifying equipment, estimating costs, and conducting site audits to assess the impact of proposed solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project concepts and design systems for wastewater treatment  
• Collaborate on engineering drawings and project specifications  
• Provide technical expertise throughout project phases from development to post-construction  
• Participate in client interactions to ensure tailored solutions  
• Support project managers and team members to enhance project outcomes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline  
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in process wastewater design or co-digestion  
• Experience from postgraduate internships is also considered

Additional Details:

• Eligible for hybrid work policy  
• Domestic travel up to 30% including overnight trips required

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually  
• Eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive plan
