Job Description
Provide advanced technical/engineering problem-solving support for nuclear plant operations, acting as a resource and technical expert to engineers. Make technical decisions and apply detailed knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
Primary Duties:
- Develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis and programs.
- Offer technical expertise to resolve equipment and system issues.
- Lead engineering tasks and ensure adherence to design criteria, procedures, and codes.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses for technical projects.
- Recommend improvements to enhance performance, reduce costs, and comply with regulations.
Levels & Salary:
- Mid-Level (E02):
- Salary: $88,000 - $108,000
- B.S. in Engineering & 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- Senior Level (E03):
- Salary: $115,000 - $141,000
- B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer & 5+ years of engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in transmission, distribution, or protective relaying
- Knowledge of High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnects, digital protective relays (e.g., SEL products)
- Familiarity with ETAP and EMTP software
- Professional Engineer Registration
- Advanced technical degree or related coursework
