Engineer – Electrical Substation

Job Description

Responsible for engineering design and modification of electrical & electronic circuits, systems, and equipment. This includes installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems. Focus areas include power systems, electronic equipment, lighting, communication systems, and control systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a senior technical advisor.

Provide specialized technical input and develop design procedures.

Participate in interdisciplinary reviews and develop cost estimates.

Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.

Prepare technical specifications and assist in budget and schedule development.

Qualifications:

Master’s in Engineering or equivalent.

Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

8+ years of experience, including leading design teams for Grid Substation projects.

Experience in HV Plant Design for EHV Grid Substations.

Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI) and design experience with GIS and AIS EHV substation systems.
