Job Description

Job Title: Wind Energy Engineer. Location: karnataka, India. ReNew is seeking a Wind Energy Engineer to join its dynamic team. This role focuses on the online monitoring and operation of Wind Energy Converters (WECs) and associated wind farm components. The ideal candidate will have experience in wind farm operations, maintenance, and data management, with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Perform online monitoring and operation of WECs and associated wind farm components.
•  Conduct monthly checks on external electric wind farm components.
•  Undertake breakdown maintenance and ensure all service reports are documented and maintained.
•  Perform necessary electrical retrofitting and software updates as required.
•  Record and maintain daily generation readings, both machine-wise and EB meter-wise.
•  Upload productivity performance data to SAP/DGR Portal.
•  Periodically upload routine service data and service orders on SAP.
•  Support and undertake special measurements such as blade angle measurements, dynamic balancing, and backlash measurements.

Qualifications:

•  Experience in wind energy operations, particularly in monitoring, maintenance, and data management.
•  Proficiency in using SAP for data uploading and service order management.
•  Strong understanding of electrical components and retrofitting techniques.
•  Attention to detail in documenting and maintaining service reports.
•  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
•  Strong problem-solving skills, especially in breakdown maintenance and special measurements.
