Job Description
As Manager on the Environmental Compliance & Strategy team, you will develop federal and/or state environmental strategies for utility-scale wind projects in Oklahoma and the Central Plains.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on environmental permitting from planning to implementation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, legal counsel, and external stakeholders.
- Supervise environmental consultants, review reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop strategies to mitigate project environmental impacts.
- Support project design and respond to environmental inquiries for contracting and financing.
- Lead agency meetings and support Tribal Nation engagement.
- Participate in industry events to achieve company objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5+ years in energy project development.
- Expertise in federal and state environmental laws (NEPA, ESA, CWA).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in relevant field.
- Experience in wind project development in Oklahoma and the Central Plains.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS and environmental spatial data interpretation.
