Job Description
Job Title: Environmental Due Diligence Consultant. Location: Edinburgh, GBR
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) following ASTM standards & UK regulations.
- Perform site inspections, historical research, & data collection for due diligence reports.
- Identify & assess environmental risks like contamination & regulatory non-compliance;
- Work with clients to provide clear insights on environmental risks;
- Ensure regulatory compliance by staying updated on UK environmental laws;
- Collaborate with internal teams to support M&A, infrastructure, & real estate transactions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications (Preferred): Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), Chartered Geologist (CG), or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP).
- Experience: Prior work in environmental due diligence, risk assessment, & compliance;
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of UK environmental laws & contamination risk management;
- Skills: Strong communication, project management, & problem-solving abilities.
