Environmental / ESG Professional

Job Description

Langan is seeking an Environmental/ESG Professional to join its team in Nashville, TN, focusing on EHS and ESG Due Diligence, contaminated site investigation and remediation, and environmental project management.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct EHS and ESG Due Diligence for legal, financial, and industrial clients.

Coordinate and execute field investigations including logging borings, collecting and managing samples, performing tests, and recording data.

Conduct air, soil, gas, and groundwater sampling; oversee remediation activities.

Prepare and manage logs, field forms, and reports documenting investigations and remedial actions.

Monitor remediation and construction activities for compliance with plans and health & safety standards.

Assist with post-merger integration and compliance projects.

Identify and resolve routine and complex field issues; document and report results.

Conduct file reviews, site reconnaissance, and document searches.

Assist in report preparation and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Science, or Sustainability.

Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Prior internship or relevant field work experience preferred.

Strong technical education with a professional demeanor and eagerness to learn.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical, multitasking, and data management capabilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Willingness to work overtime and travel as required.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
