Job Title: Senior Environmental Scientist – Natural Resources. Location: Parsippany, NJ, US

Responsibilities:

• Prepare natural resource planning, assessments, & permitting documents for land development & infrastructure projects.
• Analyze reports, maps, engineering plans, & aerial photographs to evaluate natural resource characteristics for project planning & design.
• Conduct feasibility assessments for development projects & draft due diligence reports, assessments, and permit applications;
• Create site assessments & figures using GIS & AutoCAD software;
• Coordinate & perform field inspections, ensuring compliance with local, state, & federal land use regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or Planning.
• 3+ years of experience in natural resource assessment & permitting.
• Proficiency in GIS & AutoCAD software;
• Familiarity with local, state, & federal land use permitting;
• Strong analytical, communication, & multitasking skills;
• Availability for occasional fieldwork, travel, & evening/weekend tasks as needed.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
