European Deployment Manager

Job Description

Job Title: European Deployment Manager. Location: Utrecht, Netherlands. Oceaneering is seeking a seasoned & inspiring European Deployment Manager to lead the successful delivery of customer projects at a pivotal moment in our Mobile Robotics division. As a key leader, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, & exceed customer expectations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive the change for standards & processes, & shape the culture of collaboration at OMR in the AGV industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of project managers, project engineers, & automation engineers in the Netherlands & support center in India.
  • Oversee the interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, & directing of work; appraise performance; & manage employee relations.
  • Execute the project delivery roadmap with your team, ensuring Oceaneering leads the AGV industry.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, & ensure exceptional delivery.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring seamless project execution & service delivery.
  • Implement best practices to enhance operational health & safety, efficiency, quality, & customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the coordination, testing, & integration of software products with hardware products & system solutions.
  • Independently direct the development & completion of complex engineering projects.
  • Review & approve objectives, schedules, & estimates for challenging assignments.
  • Cultivate a positive & respectful working environment within teams & the organization.
  • Champion the change for standards & processes across the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • ~10 years of relevant project leadership or supervisory experience in Automation & Robotics, Material Handling Solutions, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes, documentation, & data systems.
  • Experienced in leading multinational teams.
  • Excellent people skills & familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015).
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written & verbal.
  • Practical experience with risk management.
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally.
  • Familiarity with INCOSE system engineering practices.
  • Proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
