Job Description
Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. Location: Thame, United Kingdom (Covering West Midlands & Wales). Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is dedicated to improving water quality and reducing energy consumption for industrial clients. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in servicing and maintaining water treatment equipment while ensuring operational efficiency at customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform planned and unplanned maintenance, including routine servicing and chemical sanitization.
- Diagnose, repair, and install water treatment equipment at client sites;
- Effectively manage service schedules to meet contractual obligations.
- Respond to emergency call-outs as required;
- Conduct equipment testing and commissioning before completing tasks.
- Educate customers on proper equipment usage and secure client sign-off;
- Identify opportunities for service contracts and report back to management.
- Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and accurate service records.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in servicing electro-mechanical equipment, preferably in the water treatment sector.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites.
- Strong communication skills;
- Willingness to work weekends on a rotational basis for emergency services.
- Full UK Driving Licence;
- Comfortable covering Leicester, Coventry, and Northampton areas.
