Job Description
Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Analytical Instruments (12-Month Fixed Term). Location: Dublin/Mid-Lands, Ireland. Veolia WTS is a global leader in water treatment solutions, specializing in water recovery, monitoring equipment, and advanced analytical instruments. Our Sievers Analytical Instruments division is at the forefront of Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analysis, serving industries from pharmaceuticals to municipal water treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, & maintain Sievers Branded Analytical Equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, & troubleshooting of TOC analysers.
- Schedule & manage workload efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety & operational procedures.
- Stay updated on Factory/Field Service Repair Quality Operating Instructions (QOIs).
- Provide technical consultation & support to customers;
- Validate new start-ups & installations, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain inventory & generate service reports.
- Train company trainees on technical functions & procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronic, Chemical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments in pharmaceuticals, water treatment, or semiconductor industries.
- Strong troubleshooting & customer relationship management skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office & ability to learn new software applications.
- Full Irish driving licence & willingness to travel extensively.
- Chemistry background (A-Level or equivalent) is a plus.
