Field Service Engineer - IIG

Job Description

Job Title: Field Service Engineer – IIG. Location: Fully Remote (East of the Mississippi, USA)

Responsibilities:

• Install, start up, & modify new/existing equipment at customer sites.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, & technical support.
• Conduct functional tests, modernizations, & repairs on equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of service visits & work performed;
• Train operators on equipment functionality & best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols & customer requirements.
• Submit expense reports & manage travel logistics efficiently;
• Travel to Germany for periodic training on the Atmosphere product line.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience in field service, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical & electrical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
• Familiarity with Siemens PLC (Step7 300, S7 1500 TIA Portal), HMI, & network systems preferred; Allen Bradley experience is also acceptable with training provided.
• Ability to read schematics & technical drawings.
• OSHA 10 or 30 training preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
