Field Supervisor

Job Description

Location: Coolcashlagh, Ireland North. Sector: Renewable Energy, Wind Power. Join Vestas as a Field Supervisor in Coolcashlagh, working within the Northern & Central Europe business unit. This role focuses on leading a team to ensure operational excellence in the maintenance and service of wind power plants.

Responsibilities:

• Safety & Quality: Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards and processes.
• Operational Performance: Manage daily operations to meet forecasts and planning with a focus on cost and efficiency.
• Turbine Performance: Deliver on commitments regarding turbine performance.
• Change Management: Implement and manage changes in line with operational development.
• Team Development: Develop team skills and competencies, handle recruitment, and lead local service technicians and support roles.
• Team Building: Focus on employee motivation, satisfaction, and development.

Qualifications:

• Leadership Experience: Proven skills in team building and leadership.
• Communication: Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Technical Knowledge: Salesforce knowledge and MS Office suite proficiency (willingness to learn).
• Safety Awareness: High degree of safety awareness.
