Job Title: Field Technician O&M Wind/Photovoltaic. Location: Berlin, Germany. Iberdrola Energie Deutschland GmbH, part of the Spanish Iberdrola Group, is a leading international energy company with over 170 years of experience. We are a major player in wind power and renewable energies, committed to shaping the energy transition and combating climate change. We are seeking a full-time Field Technician to monitor and maintain wind farms and photovoltaic plants. This role involves operational and maintenance tasks, including preventive, corrective, and modifying maintenance, as well as data collection and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate wind farms and photovoltaic plants, including high, medium, and low voltage facilities.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and modifying maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Conduct tests and inspections to detect anomalies in equipment and systems.
• Collect and register data related to the availability and processes of the wind farms and photovoltaic plants.
• Support the line manager with field data collection and reporting from subcontracted companies.
• Carry out operation and maintenance activities, including tests and inspections of wind farms and photovoltaic plants, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and systems.

Qualifications:

• Excellent command of German (spoken and written).
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of Spanish is recommended.
• Knowledge of equipment and elements in wind farms, photovoltaic plants, and high, medium, and low voltage installations.
• Understanding of electricity, electronics, and mechanics.
• Familiarity with design and operation of renewable energy installations.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and equipment plans.
• Experience with power switches, transformers, and power system protection.
• Understanding of logical control diagrams and safety regulations.
