Global Head of Op Excellence

Job Description

Position: Global Head of Operational Excellence. Locations: DK-Aalborg - Assensvej, FR-Le Havre, GB-Hull - Alexandra. Employment Type: Full-Time. As the Global Head of Operational Excellence & Systems (OES), you will lead a team to align operational strategies with Siemens Gamesa’s and Siemens Energy’s goals. This role focuses on two main pillars: Operational Support & Lean Structures & Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Siemens Gamesa Manufacturing System (SGMS), including target setting, quarterly assessments, and audits.
• Develop & implement global and local Lean strategies, focusing on Value Stream Mapping & bottleneck analysis.
• Oversee the Shopfloor Management (SFM) structure across all segments & provide Takt training & coaching.
• Lead global standardization programs, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Line balancing.
• Govern Lean training programs (Basic, Practitioner, Expert levels).
• Act as a global link for local Operational Excellence teams & support optimization initiatives.
• Conduct capacity constraint & bottleneck analysis, with benchmarking & best practice sharing.
• Manage the Global Material Waste Management Program & facilitate Hoshin Kanri coordination.
• Integrate digital solutions into the OES framework.
