Grid Study Engineer

Job Description

Job Title: Grid Study Engineer – Bangalore, India

Responsibilities:

• Conduct grid code & developer requirement analysis for offshore wind projects.
• Model offshore wind farms & perform steady-state, dynamic, transient, & frequency domain simulations.
• Perform studies on short circuit, PQ capability, voltage limits, equipment overloading, & stability compliance.
• Develop scripts to automate simulations & generate detailed reports on input data, results, & conclusions.
• Assist in field tests & provide technical support to project & sales teams;
• Collaborate with Grid Engineer Managers to present findings & define project study scopes.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering.
• Experience in grid compliance & electrical studies, including harmonic studies, load flow analysis, & transient studies.
• Proficiency in simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, PSS/E, DIgSILENT Power Factory, & PSCAD/EMTDC.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex technical tasks;
• Excellent communication skills in English.
