Position: Head of Execution India
Location: Bangalore, India
Experience: 15+ years
The Head of Execution India will lead and manage the local Engineering organization, setting strategies, policies, and guidelines in alignment with overall strategic targets. This role will be part of the Global Project Engineering Leadership team and the Local Bangalore Senior Leadership team, overseeing Project Engineering, Equipment, and HSE. The role will also have global leadership responsibilities for the strategic department PMO within Project Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the local Engineering organization.
- Define and execute local EXE India strategies, policies, and guidelines.
- Ensure governance within the organization.
- Serve as the ultimate escalation point for strategic or critical decisions.
- Manage and coordinate core processes within Project Engineering, including budget, resource management, and performance management.
- Develop and manage local stakeholders, ensuring people development.
- Build and execute strategies for Execution in India in alignment with the Global Head of Project Engineering.
- Drive collaboration across global Execution strategic project functions.
- Provide local leadership to approximately 100 employees in a matrix setup, collaborating with global functional leaders.
Qualifications:
- University degree in engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant leadership experience in the wind power industry or a comparable industry.
- Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholders and interfaces.
- Experience in setting and executing long-term strategies.
- Strong decision-making skills, strategic innovative orientation, and proactive mindset.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Familiarity with working in an international environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to global sites.
