Job Description

Position: HSE Specialist  

Department: Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Regional HSE NCE > Onshore Service HSE Central  

Location: Husum (preferred), Berlin or Hamburg, Germany  

Travel: Up to 30% annually  

Join Vestas' HSE team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing safety, health, and environmental standards across the company's operations. Focus on developing and implementing safety procedures for onshore wind energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a zero-accident culture.

Responsibilities:

Safety Procedures: Develop and implement safety protocols for onshore wind projects.

Audits & Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.

Training: Provide safety training to employees and contractors.

Incident Management: Manage incidents and ensure compliance with safety laws.

Reporting: Maintain records of audits, incidents, and training; prepare safety reports for management.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: Relevant degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., Sicherheitsfachkraft).

Experience: Experience in a similar role, preferably in renewable energy or construction.

Competencies:

Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities; proficiency in MS Office.

Languages: Fluent in German and English.

Environment: Ability to work in high-risk environments, including heights and remote locations.
