Job Title: High Voltage Cables Senior Engineer. Location: Ville De Saint Brieuc, France; Paris Office. Iberdrola is a global leader in energy with a commitment to clean and sustainable solutions. Responsibilities:

Technical Integrity:

• Define technical requirements for high voltage (HV) cables in offshore operations to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Support operations and maintenance (O&M) engineering for large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Identify and address technical defects in electrical equipment, particularly HV cables.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical incidents related to HV cables.
• Monitor maintenance activities to ensure compliance with contract conditions and quality standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices for HV cables.

Regulation and Legal Requirements:

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements for electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with the HSE team to develop health and safety strategies for O&M works.

Coordination:

• Share lessons learned and best practices across O&M hubs in Europe and the USA.
• Coordinate maintenance strategies for electrical systems globally.
• Provide strategic advice during the development and construction phases of new wind farm projects.

Contracts and Procurement:

• Contribute to bid levels and commercial strategies for projects.
• Produce technical specifications for maintenance contracts.
• Manage contracts to maximize financial performance and quality of maintenance activities.

Experience:

• Significant experience in HVAC & HVDC cable design, particularly subsea cables.
• Proficient in HV cable installation, testing, and maintenance.
• Familiar with H&S and environmental legislation related to marine/offshore operations.
• Background in renewables, oil & gas, or marine sectors.
• Experience managing contracts and working on offshore wind farms.
